Storyhive, a Telus a funding program, is financing 15 finalists from across Alberta. Finalists will distribute their final product on TELUS Optik TV, before turning to the community for online votes as they compete for one of two top awards that will be announced in March, 2016. The two winners will get customized career training and a scholarship to the Banff Television Festival. The finalists were announced on November 21, including seven filmmakers from Edmonton:

Raven Steals the Light by Sharlene Millang, which recreates the Haida creation myth in an animated story told through an ancient grandmother.
